The 30 Minute Physique Experiment Day 2

The 30 Minute Physique Experiment Day 2.

08/08/2025 Training Log. Push Workout

Warm up: clam shells, bent over rear delt flyes, hanging leg raises

Ex 1: single arm kettlebell overhead presses-5/5, 5/5

Ex 2: incline dumbbell bench press-8,7

Ex 3: single arm cable pushdown-15/15, 11/11

Ex 4: chest supported dumbbell lateral raise-15,14+partials

Total Time = 24 minutes.

I squeezed in this session and managed some lunch and coffee during a 45 minute break between clients during the early afternoon hours. This was a really great push session.

The chest supported dumbbell lateral raises are brutal! I feel like I can feel inches of delt muscle mass being added to my...well, Delts...after each set. The pump is crazy. This is currently my favorite side delt exercise variation, and, at the moment, it's not even a close competition.

After work I went down to the river and floated/paddled my way through there for a little over 2 hours and then had some time to walk off the river legs before heading back to the house.

Get your lifting sessions done each day, but make sure it doesn't take away from your ability to live your life. Lift (nearly) daily, but focus on high quality, brief sessions so you can make gains, look good, feel good, while also having time to enjoy the body you've built doing things outside the gym.

Until tomorrow, friends....

Since 2020 I've been sending out emails and writing articles almost daily. I do this on my own dime, during my own time, and – as I always say – it's a labor of love. But, if you find yourself loving my emails, articles, or products, and you want to leave me a couple bucks, this is the place where you can do that. Thank you so much! https://garagegymbro.gumroad.com/coffee
