For the Desk Jockeys

If you work at a desk job, it is imperative that you stand up every hour and either:

1. Walk fo 5 minutes

2. Do 5-10 squats

This hourly practice will boost energy, increase productivity, aid weight management, and will help prevent many injuries and pains associated with sitting all day.

Implement this strategy immediately.

Set a timer to go off every hour if you have to.

You might also consider a standing desk, but I recommend these hourly walks or squats to standing desk users, as well.

Motion is lotion.

No matter what you do, stand up every hour from your work and do a quick set of squats or a quick (5 minute) walk.

Your body and your mind will thank you.

My new year's resolution this year: don't ever bring the phone into the room where I'm sleeping. I leave it out on the charger in the kitchen or the living room every night. Huge return on investment.
