Kettlebell Pullover + Halo

Here's a video demonstrating the exercise: https://youtu.be/jn0n6GwmVXQ?is=zKkldM5GEL7a_Ljm

This, here, is a juicy shoulder and core exercise. It also hits the arms – all of the arms (yes, all 2 arms) – meaning the forearms, biceps, and triceps all get torched alongside the shoulders, traps, and midsection.

It's a simple enough exercise.

Hold a kettlebell by the horns. You can orient the bell to be bottoms up or bottoms down. They both work well. I like to do 1 set bottom down followed by another set bottom up.

Then, you're simply going to do a kettlebell pullover, followed by a kettlebell halo each direction. That's 1 rep!

You can perform this exercise either standing or kneeling. Both variations offer unique benefits, so maybe switch it up between the two, time to time.

I like doing these for 8-15 reps per set.

I find it's a movement that challenges the body with a relatively light load due to the grueling time under tension.

Personally, I program this exercise to be either a part of my brief warm up routine or as a part of a separate, active rest core circuit on a variety day or "rest day" from regular training.

Enjoy!
