Kettlebells and muscle gain?
Yes, they do, in fact, go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Of course, you can build muscle with kettlebells!
The problem is most people never lift heavy kettlebells and they think they need to train totally differently with kettlebells than they would with any other free weight equipment.
I use, almost exclusively, kettlebells, dumbbells, and bodyweight exercises, and I train in a way that is geared mostly towards general hypertrophy rather than cardio/HIIT. I do 1-2 quick kettlebell HIIT type exercises per week, but it's not the main focus. It's more for active recovery.
It's all about what principles you use – not the equipment you use.
