Garage Gym Chronicles: 01/18/2025 Training Log

Garage Gym Chronicles: 01/18/2025 Training Log. Upper Body

Warm up: walking to the tennis courts, playing tennis on said tennis courts for about 45 minutes, walking back home. Rested for an hour and then went out into the garage to lift.

Ex 1: pullups-8,7

Ex 2: incline dumbbell bench press-11,10

Ex 3: single arm dumbbell row-2x10/10

Ex 4: dumbbell lateral raise-16,12

Ex 5: incline dumbbell curls-10,6

Ex 6: cable overhead extensions-13+2 cheat reps, 10

Total Time = 35 minutes

On lateral raises, I focus on keeping the side delts under constant tension. This means I'm not bringing the dumbbells all the way down to my side. I'm pausing, hovering the hands a few inches away from my body at the bottom position before raising the weights back up to eye level using ONLY the little, stubborn side deltoids.

It was a pretty good day.

I look forward to having another pretty good day tomorrow.
