Garage Gym Chronicles: 05/25/2025

Garage Gym Chronicles: 05/25/2025 Training Log — walks and Push Day

I stayed up much later than usual Saturday night getting dinner with a friend and then watching a movie at home.

That led to me sleeping in this morning (I slept till 9am! Outrageous for me).

Hung out, drank a little coffee, read a little from a couple of my books (1 classic fiction – Joseph Conrad's "The Secret Agent," and 1 non-fiction – still working on "The 5 Types of Wealth"). Then, my wife and I walked half a mile to a little cafe, ordered some coffee and sandwiches, walked back home. Consumed said coffee and sandwiches.

Chased that down with some orange juice and a banana then headed out to the garage and backyard for my push session. Here's how that went ⬇️

Warm up: ab wheel rollouts x 10

Ex 1: single arm kettlebell clean & press-4x6/6

Ex 2: Incline dumbbell bench press-10,9,7

Ex 3: single arm cable lateral raise-12/12, 10/10

Ex 4: cable pushdown-20,16,15

Ex 5: cable overhead extensions-8,9,10

Total Time = 47 minutes

After lifting I had my protein shake, another banana, and did some house work and laid low.

Before dinner, my wife and I went on another lovely walk.

Get outside more.

Walk more.

Lift weights more often.

Strive to become more....in the best way possible, of course.

I'm back to work, despite it being Memorial Day. But if clients are around, I'm available. Should be an easy day, though.
