Almost forgot to share today's training! How tragic?!
Yes, I think I'm going to get back to sharing – sorry, chronicling – my training sessions here again, because...why not? It's my website/blog and while my training logs may not be the most riveting things to write about — it is fun, possibly helpful, holds me accountable to my writing and my training, and (I think) helps me better communicate my message (getting jacked with simple, time efficient workouts) by sharing my personal journey of walking the talk.

Going a little easy and weening back into things 2 days after returning home from a family vacation on the other side of the country, enduring long travel days, and a seriously busy weekend of home remodeling projects.
I got this lift in after working all day fixing up and repairing things in a couple houses and yards. I had to get training done because, well, I did upper body Friday and today is Sunday which means it's a lower body day. Duh.
Again, I train when the calendar is marked as a training day. Lifting 3-4 days per week for about 30-40 minutes per session is not difficult to fit into my weekly schedule. So even when I don't feel like lifting, I remember 2 things:
How I feel is a lie....or possibly just not that important
Momma didn't raise no weenie
Therefore, I lifted. I checked the box. It wasn't special, but it was completed and I feel good about that. I stimulated the muscles to become a little stronger and little bigger today. My future self is happy I made this decision.
It was a later than usual session (which seems to be becoming more usual....) but it felt good to get it done before dinner and then chill for a couple hours before bed.
Now, 'tis time to start reading my new fiction (Harlan Coben's “One False Move”) before falling asleep.
7 clients on the schedule for tomorrow welcoming me back to work. It's gonna be fun.
Good night and have a great week!
