Stop pretending nutrition is complicated.

Milk

Cottage cheese

Natural (zero added sugar) juice

Jasmine Rice

Sourdough bread

Potatoes

Butter

I like to eat peanut butter and local jams, as well – largely for extra calories and flavor enhancement.

Enjoy occasional treats (I sure do).

You don't need to be perfect. You just need to keep things simple, sustainable, enjoyable, and consistent.

Make sure to lift weights 2 or more days per week, walk plenty, and be generally active. These things will allow you to have a metabolism that can handle those less-than-perfect meals.

Train (lift), walk, relax, laugh, live enjoyably, and eat sensibly. Your body composition and your health will improve, and so will your mental health.

Results require action.

Remember: our outcomes are byproducts of our habits.
