The Big Foot Row is a simple, yet challenging back exercise.
Place 2 kettlebells next to each other on the ground in front of you.
Stand over the bells, with your feet placed outside the kettlebells.
Get in a strong hinge position – like a silverback gorilla.
While pushing down into the right bell, perform a row with the left bell. Pause a moment at the top, then control that kettlebell back to the ground betwixt your feet.
Immediately reverse the push + pull pattern, and push down into the left kettlebell, while rowing the right kettlebell up towards your hip/ribs.
That's a basic movement popularly known as the "gorilla row."
But we, my dear friends, are not satisfied with just a gorilla row. We aim to one-up the gorilla row.
We do that by now rowing both kettlebells up at the same time. So we do gorilla row left, right, then 2 arm row. That's 1 rep.
Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Happy rowing.
