Current Saturday Mornings

Saturday mornings are great right now.


Wake up early, drink coffee out of the French press (instead of the usual pot – Saturdays are special).


Read a little bit of the Bible. Then read whatever I want for a while.


Get a little writing done for the upcoming week's articles and emails.


Then I head into work to train a couple clients.


The rest of the day is spent hanging out with my wife, knocking out some home maintenance and yard work, going on a walk, hopping in the sauna, usually getting some sort of lift in the garage or backyard, and overall just being productive while relaxed and spending the day with my wife.


This upcoming spring – when it becomes consistently warm again – I am planning to begin a (totally free of charge) Saturday Morning Sunrise Fitness Club at one of the parks near my house. If anyone is local to me and interested, let me know. I think it will be a fun way to build a little community of fitness-oriented individuals who want to get outside under the sun while lifting some kettlebells, dumbbells, and doing calisthenics.
