05/01/2024. PPL Day 18. Pull

I did this session at the Anytime Fitness where I work, betwixt a couple of client sessions.

Here's how it went.

Ex 1: lat pulldown-160x10,8,7

Ex 2: single arm dumbbell row-75x3x10/10 (probably should have gone for 12 on the first or second set)

Ex 3: incline DB curls-35x7,7,6

Total time = 29 minutes

Since I was lifting in an actual gym today, instead of my garage, I decided to finish the session with 1 set of machine crunches.

I haven't used one of these machines in quite possibly a decade, and it felt nice to change it up and do 10 reps with a bunch of weight. When I train in gyms in the future (which happens from time to time) I'll have to remember to take advantage of this underrated piece of equipment.

I trained earlier in the morning today, so no nutrition update at the moment. But I plan to eat almost exactly as I did yesterday, so, assuming I did the math correctly yesterday, my calories and macros should shake out to be the same.

Happy May Day.
