Filling in the Kettlebell Gaps

Kettlebells are great for many things.

They do a very good job covering the bases for vertical push (military press variations), horizontal pull (row variations), hinge (all the ballistics, deadlift, windmill, & RDL variations), squat, lunge, and carries.

But, they're limited in vertical pull and horizontal push exercises. Sure you can do kettlebell bench press and floor press, but they're often awkward or even too light to be challenging, depending on your collection.

This is where bodyweight exercises come in and pair nicely with the kettlebell. Pullups for vertical pull and pushups for horizontal push.

There are lots of different fun, challenging pushup variations.

I'm a big fan of EMOM or E2MOM training with pushups to accumulate a lot of volume in a condensed period of time.

Happy lifting!
