The #1 Health Hack

The best and most reliable "hack" to look good, feel good, and be good:

Do some form of exercise every day for the next 10 years.

3-4 days per week, lift weights with high intensity (high effort, taking sets close to failure) for 30-45 minutes.

The other 3-4 days per week do some simple, brief, low to moderate intensity exercise for 10-30 minutes per day. This could include lighter kettlebell swings, mobility work, light Turkish getups, ab exercises, stretching, light or brief cardio, some easy pushups, pullups, or air squats (not going close to failure), etc. Anything that's active, gets you moving, but doesn't leave you exhausted. These "active rest" sessions should recharge you and give you energy, making you feel good – like caffeine but exercise.

Every single day take at least 7,000 steps. If you work in an office or at a desk, stand up every hour and take a 2-5 minute walk. Make time to go on a 30 minute walk either before or after work.

There are many products out there that promise to fix the way you look and feel, but they all cost money and most are scams. Consistent, daily exercise has an undefeated record of improving the way people look and feel.

2 Sets per Exercise for Muscle and Strength?

I continue to find that I am a 2-set-pony.  I'm smoked after 2 sets of an exercise. Partially because I tend to go pretty hard on each set. Partially because I think I'm just predisposed to responding
