10/06/2024 Training Log: PPL 365 Week 2 Day 1

10/06/2024 Training Log. PPL 365 Week 2 Day 1

Quick Pull session during a quick break from lots of yard, fence, and roof work.

Ex 1: ring pullups-9,7

Ex 2: gorilla rows-2x12/12

Ex 3: standing dumbbell curls-12,7

Ex 4: kettlebell snatch-10/10, 6/6

Total Time = 23 minutes

It's kind of hilarious how much different pullups feel when you switch from a straight bar in a power rack to a pair of rings from a tree branch (that moves). Fun stuff.

Beautiful day outside. Beautiful 23 minute pull session.

This is why I love high frequency, low-moderate volume training.

It takes away the stress of worrying about when you'll have time to train.

When all I need is 20-30 minutes, I know I can squeeze in a high quality training session any time during my day, and then go on about my day.
