10/08/2024 Training Log: Active Rest

10/08/2024 Training Log: Active Rest.

Kettlebell Swings-48kg/106lb x 10,10,10,10,10,10 = 60 swings

Total Time = 10 minutes

The easiest way to get some quality movement on rest days is to get your steps, swing some kettlebells, or do some bodyweight squats. I decided I yearned to get some quality time with my "beast" kettlebell.

If you swing a heavy weight with proper technique, you'll feel your glutes, hamstrings, lats, quads, and abs.

If you're not feeling a super strong glute contraction when swinging, you're either using poor technique or using a weight that is too light.

Good technique means HIGH power. This means you should be explosive and accelerate that weight away from your body. Just be sure to remember to hold on at the top so you can rip it back down into your body.

Legs on deck for tomorrow.

Happy Tuesday.
