Garage Gym Chronicles: 10/31/2024 Training Log. Legs


Warmup: 50 flutter kicks


Ex 1: Bulgarian split squats-2x8/8

Ex 2: single leg RDL-2x12/12

Ex 3: leg curls-15,12

Ex 4: leg extensions-20,15

Ex 5: offset calf raises-20/20, 12/12


Total Time = 38 minutes 


I did the final 3 exercises in a giant set/circuit fashion. 


On leg extensions, I notice much better results – despite using less weight – when I deliberately pause for 2 seconds at the top of each rep. I need to be a bit better about making sure I do this on every rep of every set of extensions.


Just 2 sets of everything this week as I ween back into things. Usually 2 sets is enough, but 3 sets is fun.
