Updated "Lifting Club!"

30minutephysique

What's up, friends.

In this email I want to make you aware of some changes that are coming to one of my subscriptions that I offer. That subscription that is going to undergo some changes is, "The Lifting Club."

Fear not. These changes are ALL for the better.

You see, I've been wanting to put more emphasis on "The Lifting Club." When I created it, my intent was to offer a low cost monthly subscription where we can build a community of lifters who get the full, "Garage Gym Bro, HQ" experience. I want it to include more than just a program of the month. I had dreams of making this club a high quality, high value place for subscribers to get monthly inexpensive (group) programming, a chance to interact with me more – whether that's to discuss the program, nutrition, or share articles, books, thoughts, or whatever – and a place for me to share my top content, my top programs that won't be shared on the blog or to unpaid email subscribers, and even a place to do experimental nutrition and training protocols. I wanted the lifting club to be a place where I could have a team of lab rats (and gym rats) to join me and be on the ground floor of training experiments and be the first to benefit from our findings.

But, life happened. I moved. Twice. I was busy building an in-person personal training business in a new place, and I got distracted writing ebooks, starting new blogs and experimenting with different social media platforms (I still haven't changed my tune on social media — it's not my ideal jam).

However, I'm now at a place where I'm able to refocus my energy towards what I enjoy. And what I enjoy is writing articles for my blog AND offering a great subscription service. I'm going to change The Lifting Club from a bland email list that gets new workouts each month to a full-fledged, first class community.

Here's what to expect in the new and improved lifting club:

Each month you'll get 4 weeks of programming. Sometimes that programming may last more than 4 weeks, but you'll get updated every 4 weeks, regardless.

Video demonstration of all exercises along with optional alternate exercises for the month's program.

Complimentary (free) access to the "Lightning WOD Squad." This means that with a Lifting Club subscription, you'll automatically receive the weekly Lightning WOD Squad workouts without needing to subscribe to that plan, separately. A peak inside what I'm reading each month. From fiction to non-fiction, from nutrition to physical culture. You don't have to join along, but it may give you some ideas if you're interested in reading and want to join in the fun. Almost like a virtual book club, if you so choose.

Background each month about what personal nutrition protocols I'm following and if I'm experimenting with anything new.

A live view of my own training log to help keep you AND me accountable and motivated. I've been sharing this elsewhere in the past, but I'm going to cease sharing my training logs publicly and will be sharing my own training ONLY in the Lifting Club, starting in April. All subscribers are more than welcome to share their own training logs back to me (and feel free to reach out for any feedback if desired). This way we'll have increased accountability and motivation.

Throughout the month you'll receive updates about each of the above topics, many of which will be included with the chronicling of my own training.

All active Lifting Club subscribers will receive discounted or even free versions of my paid ebooks.

I'm excited.

For now, I'll be keeping the price at just $5 per month. I think that's a pretty stellar deal. You can cancel, sign up, or re-sign up at any time.

Cohort 1 begins April 1st (MME 65X. You'll have to subscribe to know what the program entails :p).
