PPL 365 Week 1 Day 4, Legs B

Ex 1: curtsy lunge-2x12/12

Ex 2: single leg RDL-12/12, 8/8 (probably need to either go 1 kettlebell size lighter or just stick with 1 hand kettlebell swings here. These felt off and a bit unstable today)

Ex 3: front foot elevated split squats-2x8/8

Ex 4: offset kettlebell calf raise-17/17, 12/12

Total Time = 38 minutes.

Yes, I do LOTS of unilateral exercises for leg training. In fact, all of these exercises today were unilateral.

Front foot elevated split squats and curtsy lunges are officially making an appearance during the "Leg B" sessions during this block. These are 2 exercises I've flirted with, but never fully committed to practicing. Time will tell how it pays off for me.

Leg A session will continue to feature my old faithful exercises — Bulgarian split squats, hamstring curls, and reverse lunges.

I thought smoke/fire season was over, and I'm not sure how this fire behind my house started, because we've had nothing but perfect weather for the past 3 weeks. Oddly enough, this is by far the closest fire (the only one right in town since I've lived here), but we have almost no smoke in the valley and the air quality is just dandy. It makes one wonder how enormous these fires must be that take place 1-2 states away yet managed to flood my city with smoke this summer.

Have a great weekend!
